Introducing the first ever VILA TALENT AWARD winner, German designer Pia Schulz, and her spectacular ‘Studio 54’ party designs. Pia has made a perfect recognizable 5-piece party capsule collection that highlights VILA’s feminine, simple and sensual universe.

Pia’s inspiration behind the collection:
“When I heard about the competition, I had just seen the movie Scarface with my boy­friend. Here, Michelle Pfeiffer looks amazing, and is both sexy and ladylike. She is seen danc­ing in a club, in these beautiful dresses, and even wears a very sexy suit jacket with a skirt. I wanted to merge this with a bit of a Studio 54 feel, and make it wearable for a woman to­day. To me, style today is very much about fashion today, so I wanted to create a collection where you could interpret your style yourself. Also, it needed to be comfortable, so you’d feel free to dance all night! The silhouette is narrow but not clingy; as a brand, VILA is very much about colours, so I decided on an emerald green and a rich Bordeaux to complement the classic black of evening wear. The waist is emphasised and the sleeves on the long dress and the jacket have a bit of volume, which I find very elegant. For the embellishments I used the VILA TALENT AWARDS logo, which is so feminine and beautiful – like a shell, or an art deco motif.”
